Everyone has a story and it should be told. Not every memoir is meant to be a national bestseller, though some will be, but telling your story is important for the history. At one time, everyone kept diaries or journals, but not so much these days. At a recent writer's conference, someone said, “I wish my aunt had left notes or letters about her life. Now that I'm older, I'm hearing bits and pieces ... it feels like so much is missing.” Tell your story, even though you're still living it, because you can always add chapters.
